(1/31/2024) The 2022 Autrement is a blend of 40% Gamay Noir, 40% Mondeuse and 20% Pinot Noir. It has broody aromas of red and black cherries, saddle leather, mushroom powder and foresty accents reminiscent of wet leaves and bark. The light-bodied palate has a concentrated core of earthy fruit framed by finely chalky tannins and bursts of juicy acidity that call you back to the glass on the nuanced finish. Reminiscent of Beaujolais, it drinks well on its own, yet its juiciness and astringency will allow it to pair widely at the table. Drink Date: 2024 - 2032.
