(8/2019) Bright pale orange color. Intense orange peel, tangerine nectar, and quinine on the nose. Then freshly saline and compact, with ripe but lively flavors of fresh citrus fruit, bitter orange marmalade and cloves. Finishes long and juicy with a noteworthy zingy kick. What can I say; I usually don’t like the majority of orange wines (most of which, despite the hype, are flawed or poorly made), but this is a beauty. All those who love bitters, amaros and cocktails will like this.
