This is a thoughtful, enlivening white wine from Israel's native Marawi grape in a beautiful package. It has a light 11.5% ABV but drinks fully dry, with more texture and intrigue than you could imagine. A 0.6-hectare vineyard contains 30-year-old, dry-farmed vines rooted in limestone-clay. Reminding us a bit of Viognier - it speaks hushed with subtle layers of crushed minerals, stone fruit, florals, dried citrus, melon, dried herbs, and bitter almonds. Suited for dinner. Kosher for Passover.
