Located in Israel's Merom Ha'Galil within the Upper Galilee, the newly built Recanati winery is a showcase winemaking facility, equipped with the most innovative technology available today. These Petite Sirah vines are some of the oldest in Israel, rooted deep, soaking up the warm sun. Grapes were harvested by hand and machine and de-stemmed. Fermentation took place for 10-14 days in small tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. Dark violet complex aromas of ripe plum and black cherry mingled with notes of dark chocolate. Soft, velvety, and delicious, this full-bodied red will age gracefully over the next 5 years.
