(2/2025) This sugarcane rhum agricole balances indulgent tropical notes, ripe citrus, and spices with the smokey backdrop of the volcanic Mt. Pelee on Martinique, the Caribbean isle of France. Local cooperage delivers double-charred barrels that rest for three years. We adore various unaged sugarcane rums at Vin Chicago, responding to their diverse, earthy, grassy, dry nature. This one brings the softness and rounding of the barrel and would be great for reposado tequila drinkers looking for something new!

(7/1/2023) Orange peel and toasted almond lead the nose. The lively palate offers lots of vanilla and caramel up front, drying into hints of leather and cigar wrapper. The finish shows a faint but refreshing bell pepper-like vegetal exhale.
