(7/2023) The 2022 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett still has a reductive funk on the nose. The palate brings peach and peach skin, plus riper citrus like mandarin and spicier kumquat. White pepper adds a frisson while the balance of freshness comes across as sweet citrus: fully ripe yet pleasantly tart and mouthwatering. A vivid and very harmonious balance that seems far less sweet than its 55g/L of residual sweetness. Aromatic and complex. (Sweet). Drinking Window: 2023 - 2050.
