With exceptional integration and a long compact finish this wine handsomely balances focused fruit notes of black cherry, black and red currant with tobacco, pink peppercorn, cocoa, leather and black mineral-laced stone. The finish shimmers indefinitely and the entire wine is potent without excess. A vibrant, deep that's just hit its full stride, channeling excellent energy and tension on the palate. Serious Cabernet here, we love it — and could see pairing it with with the finest grilled red meat preparations anytime over the coming 4-5 years.

(7/9/2022) Dried herbs, tobacco, graphite, and both red and black fruit emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Jack's Vineyard, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that's medium to full-bodied, has terrific ripeness, present tannins, and the fresher, focused, balanced style of the vintage. It's going to evolve nicely for 15 years if properly stored.
