What We Think
Vin Chicago: 88 Points
(3/2024) Featuring a price you do not expect for a quality single-vineyard Monterey Pinot Noir aged in 35% new French oak, this is striking Pinot value! Yummy primary tart cherry, macerated raspberry and cranberry fruit has secondary features of black tea, fresh chervil, sun-dried tomato, dried orange rose, thyme and cinnamon. Pairs across a range from grilled salmon, herbed pork tenderloin or a pomegranate reduction-glazed flank steak. Nice!
What Critics Think
Wine Enthusiast : 90 Points
(7/1/2023) A light hue in the glass, this affordable Pinot Noir hits the required marks, offering soft aromas of cranberry, pomegranate, herb and mocha on the nose. It tightens up on the palate, where cranberry and orange-rind flavors are boosted by a bouquet garni character.
James Suckling : 89 Points
(1/27/2023) This has aromas of fresh button mushrooms, raspberries, orange zest and cardamom. Juicy and earthy, with a medium body, fresh acidity and powdery tannins. Easy undergrowth character. Sustainable. Drink now. Screw cap.
