(12/2024) This triumphant Tuscan red outshined hundreds of truly great wines at the biggest Italian wine party of the year! Proprietors Laura di Collobiano and Moreno Petrini have owned their property since 1993 farming with biodynamic and organic practices for over two decades. Their "Palistorti" is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot and 10% Syrah which explodes from the glass with a stacked deck of black cherry, fresh plum, truffle, cedar, salumi, fennel frond, tobacco, dried orange peel, and mint. A wine teeming with so much energy and vivacity, you might think it'll dance right off the table! Outstanding already, there's a great track record of aging and it may not yet be at its peak!
