(9/2026) Easy-going but far from light, this outrageously affordable Italian red harnesses the warmth of the 2022 harvest. A blend of 61% Barbera, 19% Bonarda, 19% Dolcetto, and 1% Croatina, this Kermit Lynch imported 'Super Piemontino' from 1.6 hectares of sand and limestone soils. It's full of charm and a more-ish, darker vintage than we remember — it wouldn't be out of place in a lineup of $20 Cotes du Rhone! Look for black cherries, dried herbs, salted black plum, pepper - this is suitable for a great range of dinner fare.
