(3/2024) This is a selection of nine plots circling the Moulin-à-Vent hill, planted from 1910 to 1955, representing half of Thibault Liger-Belair’s Pierres Roses estate. If you’re comfortable with Brett, this wine has plenty of it. Otherwise, decant it and you’ll be less intimate with a horse’s rear end and closer to fresh cherries. In fact, it’s the cherries that last, as the animal scents meld into the silken texture. The fruit comes up as you spend time with the wine, perhaps acclimating yourself to the funk. It’s pretty delicious.

(11/15/2024) A ripe and velvety beam of cherry is filigreed with herb notes and gently robed in a toasty cedar accent. Spice and cigar box elements add detail, while a savory thread of salty acidity courses throughout, keeping this red vibrant and balanced. Drink now through 2028.
