(3/2026) This is one of those crazy opportunties that Vin Chicago is perfectily positioned for. Crafted by winemaker Kevin Morrissey, this Napa Cab hails from some serious Napa Valley vineyards and, uniquely, is a non-vintage blend of juice from '19, '21 and 2022! Dark in color and packed with yummy fruit, including black raspberry and blue plum, the wine drinks like textbook Napa Cab with pepper, tobacco and a soft, easy, impressive finish. The winery originally sold this for $85. We're absolutely blowing it out!

(7/14/2024) Boomslang is a multi-vintage blend of 2019, 2021, and 2022 fruit, crafted by Kevin Morrisey (formerly of Ehlers Estate). It's an incredibly easy-drinking, smooth Cabernet with just enough fine-grained tannins to layer in a bit of grippy texture. Still, for the most part, it's a pretty, red-fruited, elegant Cabernet with good tension and energy. This makes me wish California wineries would do more non-vintage blends. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2034.
