(1/2024) The 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Cruz Mountains) is gorgeous. Bright, vibrant and bristling with energy, the 2022 is an absolute delight. Dark red cherry, orange peel, spice and dried herbs lend notable aromatic presence. Pretty floral overtones appear on the finish, adding expansive breath. Stems range from 33% to 67% depending on each of the various lots that go into the blend. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2036.

(8/21/2025) Focusing on the Corralitos area, the 2022 Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains leads with a pure nose of dark berries, pine needles and blood orange. The palate is polished and vibrant, concluding with a focused, detailed and saline-driven finish. It's a lovely expression of the coastal side of the Santa Cruz Mountains rendered with nuance and precision. Drink Date: 2024 - 2029.
