What Critics Think
James Suckling : 95 Points
(7/13/2026) A luscious, fruit-forward, medium- to full-bodied wine with aromas and flavors of crushed blackberries and raspberries alongside thyme blossoms and rosemary. Juicy tannins and plush acidity make for a delicious and generous expression. Drink or hold.
Jeb Dunnuck : 94 Points
(8/17/2026) The 2024 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is a joyful wine that drinks well above its appellation, offering wildflowers, raspberries, fresh cherries, pure earth, rhubarb, candied cranberries, and subtle polish from aging in both wood and terracotta. Medium-bodied, it has depth without weight, fleshy yet well-defined tannins, excellent clarity, and impressive balance. Drink over the coming 8-10 years.
International Wine Report : 94 Points
(8/2026) Displaying a luminous medium-ruby core framed by a vivid neon-pink rim, the 2024 White Walnut Pinot Noir from the Dundee Hills opens with compelling aromatics of ripe Bing cherry, wild strawberry, and freshly ground black pepper. Crafted with partial stem inclusion and traditional foot treading, the wine undergoes minimal new oak contact during twelve months of aging, followed by a final month in concrete before bottling. On the palate, it comes across as medium-plus to full-bodied, where savory cedary herbs integrate with structured, present tannins and a vibrant line of moderate-plus acidity. The primary cherry and pepper elements carry through with precision to a remarkably long, lifted finish. 1315 cases were produced. Drink 2026 - 2036.
