What Critics Think
Decanter : 97 Points
(8/17/2025) Red fruits with clove and blood orange leap forward. This wine centres on red fruit, classic of the region, with pine sap and an umami character, too, along with earth and a touch of red miso. A subtle complexity frames all this fruit and savoury character, with chopped mint leaf and salt soaring through to the end. Finishes with a flourish of savoury herbs and alpine florals. Brilliant complexity. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2038.

(8/26/2025) The 2023 Pinot Noir Worden Hill Road is intensely concentrated and pure, with layers of cherry cordial, crushed flowers, minty herbs, orange oil, dark baking spice, and wet stone minerality. The palate is supple and balanced, with ripe tannins, a plush yet poised texture, and notes of leather and earthy truffle. It carries depth without weight and will be a contemplative, rewarding wine to follow over the next 15+ years.

(3/13/2025) Great tension and acidity accompany effusive red fruit like raspberries and cherries in this beautifully balanced wine. Aromas of cinnamon, cloves and orange zest open up on the palate and expand to dark plums and black cherries. Great vibrant acidity and moderate tannins envelop the juicy, open fruit notes. Drink now or hold.
