A premium Chateauneuf from 100 year-old vines!
93 Wine Enthusiast (12/31/2019) "Ripe, zesty blackberries are shaded by dried thyme and wild mint in this full-bodied but freshly composed wine. It's a penetrating sip gripped by firm, finely edged tannins. Enjoyable already for its vibrant fruit profile the wine should meld and improve through 2030."
92 Wine Advocate (8/30/2019) "The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Hommage a Oudette Bernard is full-bodied and silky in texture yet not overdone, with the merest hints of chocolate accenting black cherries, licorice, dried spices and leather. It should drink well for at least a decade."
93 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (12/2019) "Deep bright-hued crimson. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe raspberry, cherry liqueur, spicecake and candied lavender. Juicy, seamless and energetic on the palate, offering seamless red fruit, succulent herb and spicecake flavors that deepen steadily on the back half. Impressively concentrated but also lithe and sharply defined. Gentle, rounded tannins give shape to persistent, vibrant fruit notes on the penetrating finish. Aged in 70% used barriques and 30% stainless steel tanks. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2034."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!

Turn left on Elston and drive for just over a quarter mile. We'll be on the left side of the road just after the rail overpass. Parking is on-street, right in front of the store!
