91 Our Score (3/2020)
93 Jeb Dunnuck (9/6/2019) "Brought up 18 months in 70% French and 30% American oak, 20% being new, the 2012 Reserva has textbook Tempranillo notes of smoked red and black fruits, Asian spices, lead pencil, and incense. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has polished tannins, beautiful purity, and a good finish. It's a classic wine that's ideal for cellaring and drinking over the coming two decades."
91 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (9/2018) "(raised in a 50/50 combination of new and used French and American oak barrels, 20% new, for 18 months) Deep, bright-rimmed ruby color. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red fruits and fresh flowers, along with vanilla, mocha and pipe tobacco flourishes. Juicy and appealingly sweet, offering supple raspberry and cherry-vanilla flavors and a hint of smokiness that builds as the wine opens up. Finishes supple and very long, with slow-building tannins and resonating florality. Drinking Window: 2020 - 2026."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
