90 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (2/2021) "Deep, shimmering ruby. Expansive aromas of ripe red berries, pungent flowers and white pepper, along with a hint of licorice. Supple and nicely concentrated, offering cherry and blueberry flavors that display good depth and breadth. Turns sweeter on the gently tannic finish, which clings with very good tenacity. Drinking Window: 2021 - 2024."
88 Wine Advocate (4/30/2020) "The entry-level 2018 Flor de Goda, which, in this vintage, changes to a Burgundy bottle from a Bordeaux one in 2017. It's produced with Garnacha from younger vines averaging 20 years of age, and it matured in French oak barrels for six months. The grapes reach very high ripeness here, and the wines are regularly 15.5% to 16% alcohol, powerful and heady expressions of the variety. 2018 is a slightly cooler and lighter year, and the wine is jammy, juicy and fruit-driven. Drink Date: 2020 - 2022."
89 Wine Spectator (10/31/2020) "Black cherry and red plum flavors have a ripe, slightly candied character in this round red. Smoky, coffee and mineral notes add interest. Light tannins and lively acidity keep this focused. Drink now through 2024. 6,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported."
88+ Our Score (6/2020) This 100% Garnacha comes from the team at Juan Gil. These guys know how to turn high quality, inexpensive fruit into tasty, impactful wines. This powerful red checks in at 15.5% alcohol, a percentage rarely seen at this price, yet the wine finds balance and energy. Look for juicy, ripe red berry fruits, a hint of pepper and notes of red earth.

If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
