93 Jeb Dunnuck (8/2/2017) "Coming from the central part of the Willamette Valley, the 2015 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton comes from two vineyards (Gran Moraine and Gran Moraine Estate Vineyards) and sees just a touch of whole cluster. It's one of the larger production cuvees yet still ends up being a cellar selection due to the amount of fruit they work with. Darker in color than the Chehalem Mountains release, it offers more black raspberries, black cherry, cranberry, sappy herbs and earth in a medium-bodied, silky, polished, very juicy style. With impressive purity, an elegant texture, fine tannin and a good finish, it's reminiscent of an elegant Gevrey."
91 Wine Spectator (10/31/2017) "Plump and loaded with polished fruit, offering black raspberry and cherry flavors, with spice and cinnamon accents that linger on the finish. Drink now through 2023. 2,192 cases made."
90+ Wine Advocate (8/31/2017) "Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton has black cherry and mulberry notes with notions of violets, chocolate box and cloves. Medium-bodied, it delivers a great intensity of firmly-textured red and black fruit, finishing long with a fruity burst. Drinking window: 2017 - 2021."
91 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (8/2017) "Deep red. A highly fragrant bouquet evokes fresh dark berries, rose oil and peppery spices, and a note of cola emerges with air. Juicy, focused and seamless on the palate, offering lively boysenberry and bitter cherry flavors that turn sweeter as the wine stretches out. Shows energetic lift and very good clarity on a long, gently tannic finish that leaves a zesty white pepper note behind. Drinking window: 2020 - 2025."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
