Wine Spectator
(2/28/2017) "Taut, focused and broad enough to let the black cherry, raspberry and savory flavors pop against fine tannins. The finish persists easily. Best from 2018 through 2024."

(11/3/2016) "Aromas of smoke, berries and flowers. Medium to full body, tight tannins and a crisp finish. Lively. Drink now."

(10/1/2016) "This vintage favors a blended, entry-level cuvée such as this, which comes on bright and succulent and ripped with lovely raspberry/cherry fruit flavors. There's a welcome touch-18%-of new oak, just enough to set off the crisp, fresh berry highlights."

Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(12/2016) "Vivid red. Bright, energetic and spicy on the fragrant nose, displaying fresh red fruit and floral scents and a subtle touch of blood orange. Juicy and light on its feet, offering gently sweet raspberry and cherry flavors that unfold and put on weight with air. The floral quality repeats on the finish, which hangs on with very good, spice-tinged persistence. I find this wine to be quite elegant, even understated, for the vintage."
