92 Wine Advocate (6/2016) "Another elegant, beautifully balanced 2013 from Chris, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mays Discovery is 100% varietal and spent 18 months in 35% new French oak. From the slightly cooler Horse Heaven Hills AVA, it offers plenty of crushed rock, smoked herbs, licorice and Bing cherry characteristics in a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, lengthy package. It still has some oak to integrate, but should round into form with short-term cellaring and have an easy two decades of overall longevity."
93 Vinous, Stephen Tanzer (7/2015) "(The vineyard is on a hillside bench overlooking the Columbia River, in the Horse Heaven Hills appellation): Dark ruby. High-pitched aromas of cassis, blackberry and violet. Dense, sweet and juicy, offering lovely depth and purity to its classic Cabernet flavors of cassis, redcurrant, bitter chocolate, violet and licorice complicated by a rooty element. Conveys an impression of intensity without excess weight. This wonderfully lush yet firm wine finishes with terrific breadth and sweet, serious tannins. Drinking window: 2017 - 2025."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
