91 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (3/2019) "Limpid straw color. Mineral-accented orange zest, peach, lemongrass and a hint of jasmine on the assertively perfumed nose. Dry and taut on the palate, offering concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavors that show very good delineation. Hints of fennel and honeydew melon build with air. Finishes long and pure, leaving dusty mineral and bitter lime pith notes behind."
90 Our Score (9/2018) The historic estate of Morgadio helped put the Albarino grape in the spotlight after their vineyards were used for experimentation that assisted in the creation of the Rias Baixas appellation in the early 1980s. If you're curious what a classic example of Albarino tastes like, this is it. During the winemaking process, the juice is macerated on the lees for two months, adding a rich and round texture that is characteristic of the region. That richness is balanced out by fresh acidity, deliciously pure fruit flavors of pear, peach and citrus zest, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Grab a chilled seafood platter and go to town!

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
