A beautiful 2015 Gigondas from the owners of Vieux Telegraphe!
94+ Jeb Dunnuck (10/19/2017) "Cut from the same cloth, the 2015 Gigondas Racines offers darker fruits, as well as more minerality, yet is slightly closed and needs 2-3 years of bottle age. Garrigue, black cherries, currants, scorched earth, and licorice all flow to a full-bodied Gigondas that has ripe tannin and terrific length. It's a classic beauty well worth your time and money."
94 James Suckling (8/15/2017) "Much older vines, with close to a 100-year-old average. This has a cherry and pepper edge to it. Very plush and even, elegant and refreshing. The stems are perfectly integrated. Elegant, lithe and profound. Layered and long, builds freshness. Drink now."
94 Wine & Spirits (10/2018) "Importer Kermit Lynch and the Brunier brothers of Vieux Telegraphe have run this estate in northern Gigondas since the late 1980s. They pull Les Racines from the property's oldest vines, averaging 65 years, a blend of grenache, syrah, cinsault and clairette growing on a mix of sandy red clay and limestone. Vinified with ambient yeasts in cement tanks, then aged in foudres for less than a year, the 2015 is one of the prettiest Gigondas wines we've ever tasted. It's brisk and red-fruited, the floral, cherry flavors taut and pure, gaining their depth from notes of stone and garrigue that keep the wine long and firm."

If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
