92-93 Vinous, David Schildknecht (2/2017) "Last tasted in June 2016 from tank, this brims with juicy fresh apple, white peach and lime. An invigorating sense of apple skin and peach fuzz chewiness allied to peach kernel piquancy leads to a zesty finish of impressive twang and sheer persistence. But there is also a formidable sense of lees-engendered buffering and underlying richness. Boasting a combination of vintage-typical ripe generosity with focus, clarity and animation, this is another of Wess's vintage 2015 Rieslings likely to significantly outlive its Grüner Veltliner counterpart. Drink 2017 - 2026."
92+ Our Score (11/2018) Wow! We tasted this wine and immediately knew we'd found something special. A densely packed and concentrated offering, this 2015 dry Austrian Riesling is super viscous and textured, giving ripe stone and orchard fruit flavors along with a long, nervy finish. The velvety mouthfeel opens to the core theme of what Riesling is all about - minerality. Complex and delicious when first opened, and even better after it's had a few hours or a few days to breathe. The boss liked this one so much he took our sample home and drank it all!

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!

Turn left on Elston and drive for just over a quarter mile. We'll be on the left side of the road just after the rail overpass. Parking is on-street, right in front of the store!
