91-92 Vinous, David Schildknecht (5/2017) "Last tasted in late July 2016 - more than a year ahead of its anticipated bottling - this still smells overtly yeasty and leesy, but behind that emerge scents of ripe pear and apple as well as piquant intimations of the tingling, bright crystalline sense of mineral impingement that lends invigoration as well as intrigue to an almost lushly fruity, satin-textured palate. This finishes with a combination of richness and levity (at barely over 12 percent alcohol) as well as vivacity such as one seldom encounters in Muscadet."
95 John Gilman (10/2018) "The 2015 Clisson bottling from Domaine de la Pepiere is a stunning young bottle of Muscadet. The complex nose delivers a stellar constellation of bread fruit, a touch of pear, dried flowers, a beautifully complex base of wet stone minerality, discreet leesy tones and very understated topnotes of both menthol and ocean breeze. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and very mineral in personality, with a rock solid core of fruit, snappy acids and outstanding length and grip on the complex and energetic finish. This is a brilliant wine. Drink between 2018-2045."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!
