95 James Suckling (7/16/2015) "Aromas of spice, bark, dark fruits and perfumes. Very floral. Full-bodied, round and velvety with a clarity and transparency to the wine. Very, very long. A wine that shows youth and finesse for its age."
93 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (2/2019) "(aged for two years in new French oak barriques) Deep red. Smoke- and spice-accented cherry and vanilla aromas are complemented by hints of dried flowers, camphor and pipe tobacco. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering juicy red fruit, spicecake and mint flavors that deepen with air. Shows very good energy and appealing floral character on an impressively long, penetrating finish that's given shape by discreet tannins. Drink 2019 - 2025."
94 Wine Advocate (6/28/2010) "The 2006 El Puntido is purple-colored with a fragrant nose of wood smoke, espresso, Asian spices, black cherry, and blackberry. Dense, round and smooth-textured, this opulent effort is loaded with luscious fruit and has enough structure to evolve for 6-8 years. Drink this lengthy effort from 2016 to 2026."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!

Turn left on Elston and drive for just over a quarter mile. We'll be on the left side of the road just after the rail overpass. Parking is on-street, right in front of the store!
