93 Wine Enthusiast (10/2012) "With its massively concentrated blackberry fruit framed in ample new oak, this bears a bit of resemblance to some Australian Shirazes. It's mouthfilling but supple, with nuances of Christmas spices like cinnamon, clove and anise that linger on the long finish. Drink 2014-2023."

92 Vinous, Josh Raynolds (3/2014) "Inky ruby. Deeply pitched dark fruit liqueur, olive and smoky Indian spice aromas are brightened by a zesty mineral quality. Palate-coating blackberry and blueberry flavors pick up an exotic floral nuance with air and are enlivened by juicy acidity. Finishes smooth, broad and long, with subtle vanilla and cola notes and strong mineral cut. There's lots going on here now but I'll bet that a few more years of patience will be rewarded." 92/100 - Wine Spectator. (2/2012) "A ripe, muscular, mouthfilling style, with loads of blackberry, fig and boysenberry pâte de fruit flavors backed by juicy briar, sweet spice and dark melted licorice snap notes. This has ample toast, but very solid fruit at the core. Best from 2013 through 2018. 500 cases made."

Our store is on Old Skokie Road which is the frontage road on the west side of Rt. 41. We are 400 yards south of Deerfield Rd/Central Avenue. If you know where Williams Ski & Patio or Rick's Auto Body are located, we're on the same street; just about a few hundred yards to the south. If you are not familiar with the area, best to use GPS or some online directions because our store is a bit tricky to find!

Turn left on Elston and drive for just over a quarter mile. We'll be on the left side of the road just after the rail overpass. Parking is on-street, right in front of the store!
