(1/2021) Domaine de la Pepiere owner Marc Ollivier has fully retired as of 2019. The estate is in the very capable hands of partners Remi Branger and Gwenaelle Croix. Pepiere has been one of our most favorite Muscadet growers for years, with their single Cru "Clisson" bottling being one of their most distinctive bone dry whites. The oldest vines from this vineyard were planted in 1929 and on average the vines are 60 years old. The wine is generous, dense and ageworthy, packed with minerality, salinity and quiet citrus/orchard fruits.
