What's different about Vin Chicago? First of all, we're not about safe choices. We don’t care about hot sellers. We look for the special wines, the ones scoring highest in the wine press and the ones we discover on our own, that we can get for a great price. We taste—and rate for ourselves— virtually everything we put on our shelves. Why? Because we want you to love the wine you buy from us. And come back for more.

(9/25/2018) "The leading Picpoul in the US, according to importer Fran Kysela, the 2017 Picpoul de Pinet HB displays fresh aromas of lime zest and grapefruit. It's a light-bodied, zippy rendition of the variety, with some attractive melon and citrus notes on the finish. It's a great bargain for slurping down alongside oysters."

Loosen Bros. "Dr. L" Mosel Dry Riesling 2014

New low price! Regular Vin Chicago retail - $10.99!
87+ Our Score
(3/2019) Dr. Loosen makes great value Riesling in the Mosel region of Germany, and while most carry a little sweetness, this one is bone dry. It has had a couple of years in the bottle, and a recent tasting had us delighted with the results. Look for baked citrus, roasted almond and yellow apple. A perfect aperitif!

(12/2018) Petite Sirah might just be the wine Bogle does best. From their home base in Clarksburg, in southern Sacramento County, the Bogle family delivres yet another successful bottling of this concentrated, medium- to full-bodied red wine. Black fruits are here, along with a hint of red currant, fig and cocoa. Just plain tasty!
