The Drouhin family has been making wine in Beaune since 1880. When Véronique Drouhin made the jump from her childhood home in Burgundy to Oregon in 1987, she brought a full a century of winemaking tradition with her.
Before leaving for Oregon, she was heralded as “The Guardian of the Drouhin Palate” and tasked with maintaining the style of her family’s wines. With today's bottling, she presents that spirit in the form of a Willamette Valley Pinot that sells for a very un-Burgundy-like price of $16.79

Using a good amount of fruit from her esteemed Roserock estate in Eola-Amity Hills, Véronique and her team have nailed it with this new release.
Don't underestimate this wine because of its low price. A generous helping of red berries and black cherry intertwine with baking spice and a soft earthiness to create a classic Oregon Pinot for all occasions.
When allowed sufficient time to breathe, things get even better! Awarding 90 points, Wine Advocate writes...
"The 2024 Pinot Noir from Cloudline, made by Domaine Drouhin Oregon, is easy to drink and a great value. It has inviting aromas of raspberry, strawberry, tangerine peel, forest floor and earth. 2022 was a very giving vintage in Burgundy, and the Drouhin family utilized it to the fullest for this Bourgogne Blanc. Made from fruit sourced from across the region, there is a lot to love here. As far as “entry level” white Burgundy goes, it is top-notch stuff.
Impressed with its taut minerality and orchard fruit flavors, we award a very hearty 91 points. If you’re a fan of white Burgundy, which we assert to be the most broadly appealing and greatest white wine categories on the planet, this is a bottle that you’ll love.
If you haven’t checked out this category much, the 2022 Joseph Drouhin is a perfect bottle with which to explore this sensational wine region! Median online retail is $28. Our price, as usual, is less. Like the Cloudline, very solid value here!
