Frédéric crafts this 100% Pinot Noir from hand-tended vines that were planted by his grandfather half a century ago.

Raised in a combination of cement and prior-use barrel, it is a pure expression of Burgundy, with cherry and black raspberry flavors supported by bright floral and earth tones. The finish is soft and lingering, with impressive tension and youthful concentration. One of only three Red Burgundy to earn a spot on the Top 100 list - and the only one in such a sweet-spot price - Wine Spectator writes...

“Rich and dense, this red exhibits silky black cherry, black currant, violet, mineral and spice aromas and flavors. Its texture adds an extra dimension, white the flavors are propelled by vibrant acidity. Super long. Drink now through 2032. 504 cases imported.”

As with all wines from Antoine Jobard, farming is certified organic, with every plant lovingly cared for by hand and vinified naturally in small lots. Jobard’s holdings in this famed vineyard were first planted in 1972. While the entirety of Poruzots is nearly 12 hectares, Antoine's holdings, from which this wine was made constitute a mere 0.79 hectare.

Raised in barrel, just 20% of which were new, the median online price for this small-production treasure is $290. We’re $80 less. Only 12 bottles available.

"Les Gouttes d'Or" 1er Cru

One of Meursault’s greatest vineyards, this special Premier Cru is produced by the likes of Coche, Ente and Mikulski. "Les Gouttes d'Or" translates to drops of gold, honoring the flinty stones scattered near the base of the vines.

Owning a mere 0.21 hectares, this special white is one of Jobard’s most limited selections. We found six prices online ranging from $277 to $320. Our price is absolutely crazy!
