Biggest Savings Yet on Pamplin Walla Walla Cab!

Biggest Savings Yet on Pamplin Walla Walla Cab!

The bittersweet story of the Pamplin Family Winery continues. Weeks after making a deal last fall to take all their remaining inventory, we began featuring the orphaned Cabernets from this now-closed producer at massive discounts.

Today, we offer the biggest discount yet as we shine our spotlight on the elegant 2020 Pamplin "Seven Hills Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon!

Only 75 cases of this seductive, Bordeaux-style beauty were produced. At the winery it sold for $65. Today, we’re letting it fly for a jaw dropping $42 less.

At $22.99, this Walla Walla bottling is a MASSIVE steal. Scroll down to learn all about it, and for the latest release of America’s greatest white wine value, then click that Big Green Button with confidence to load up!

==========

2020 Pamplin "Seven Hills Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon
Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington
~~~~~~~~~~~
Only 75 cases were produced of this single-vineyard bottling from Washington State's "Grand Cru" Seven Hills Vineyard. We have 58 of them to offer, and, at today's crazy blowout price, they will be gone in a flash!
Pop the cork and you'll be immediately greeted with gorgeous dark fruit aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry and cassis along with lovely Bordeaux-esque notes of pencil lead, pine needles, gravel, and cedar.
Boasting round, grippy tannins, this classy Cabernet is approachable from the get-go, and continues to open and evolve with air. We served it for friends with hot-off-the-grill lamb chops and the bottle was empty in a flash!
At last night's seminar with Evan Martin at our Elston Avenue store, Evan took a detour from talking about Oregon and - quite coincidentally - went into a story about his affection for the great, long-lived Cabernets of Seven Hills Vineyard. Calling them the best in the state, he waxed poetic about seeing decades-old bottlings outperform First Growth Bordeaux in blind tastings.
Bottled without fining or filtration, this authentic Cabernet can be enjoyed now and for MANY years to come. At today's $42-below-the-winery price, the deal here is bonkers, and this will get snapped up fast!
The PERFECT Everyday White!
2023 Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier
California
~~~~~~~~~~~
This wine has been a Vin Chicago staff and customer favorite for over two decades. Boasting crisp and clean flavors of green pear, fresh white peaches, and citrus zest backed up by soft acidity and a mouthwatering finish, this crowd-pleasing white blend is a stupidly good value that would be worth buying even if it cost 75% more. We brought a bottle to an Easter celebration and it was crushed in a matter of minutes!

This lip-smackingly refreshing white is fun on its own and will make quick friends with an array of cuisine, including shrimp cocktail, chips and salsa, prosciutto and melon, sushi and Thai food. Really just about anything!

"Offers a light-bodied, charming mix of peach, honeysuckle and pear flavors that are crisp and fresh. A touch of lime sherbet lingers on the finish alongside a note of freshly grated ginger. Chenin Blanc and Viognier. Drink now.”
          -90 Points, Wine Spectator (10/7/2024)

“Fresh nose with white peaches, sliced apples and white blossoms. Medium-bodied, crunchy and lightly salty on the palate, with juicy acidity coming through. Vibrant in the finish. Drink now. Screw cap.”
          - 91 Points, James Suckling (5/14/2024)

Wine Spectator quotes $18, and it is worth that amount. Median online retail is a bonkers good $13. At our ridiculous price, the quality-to-price ratio is off the chart. Grab a case and let the good times roll!
