With its clear glass bottle showing off an alluring light ruby tone, the American Recordings Pinot Noir is a joyous, buoyant bottle of wine. The first sip bolts forth with vividly fresh cherry flavors complicated by notes of red berries, spice and fresh evergreen forest. As it sees more air, cranberry and rhubarb fruit tones join in atop a dynamic chalky/salty mineral core.
Sourced from the Eola Springs, Fern Creek, and Chehalem Mountain vineyards in Willamette Valley, the grapes for this tasty, lighter-style Pinot Noir were vinified at Andrew's winery in the Central Coast, then aged in French oak barrels, 15% of which were new.
Perfect for Taco Tuesday or Sockeye Salmon Saturday, our sample bottle drank even better on day two! As with most Pinots, serving it with a slight chill makes the experience even better.
