We had never heard of this relatively young property until our importer told us about the “discovered” pallet in their Minnesota warehouse. We tasted it and instantly realized our good fortune that it had slipped through the cracks - it’s REALLY good!
Pouring a medium-concentrated ruby color with hints of classic garnet, this high-pitched Chianti is classic in more than name. Dark red fruit, clay, crumbly red rocks, leather dried herbs - it’s all there! And, like all great 2021 Chianti, it combines forward deliciousness and this serious structure without skipping a beat.
