~~~~~~~~~~~
How's this for crazy? The 95-point "La Belle Promenade Vineyard" Pinot goes for $55 at the winery. We bring it to you here for just $29.99.
Less than 400 cases were produced and the vast majority has been sold at the cellar door. It is INSANE that we are able to bring it to you today for this price. Read on, and click fast!
"From a biodynamically farmed vineyard, the 2022 Pinot Noir La Belle Promenade Vineyard is a bright ruby/magenta hue and takes on more depth on the nose, with black raspberries, grenadine, a hint of purple flowers, fresh earth, and a touch of rosemary. A lovely, seamless wine, with a plush tannin structure, even acidity, a very supple texture, and a floating finish with a lightly salty, mineral iron tone, it feels more approachable now but should have a wide drinking window. Drink 2024-2038.”
- 95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (8/6/2024)
"The 2022 Pinot Noir La Belle Promenade Vineyard is distinctly savory, with a wild blend of blood orange and plum sauce complicated by hints of rosemary. This is silky, nearly creamy in feel, and deeply textural, with dark red fruit depths, sage and saline minerals flowing throughout. Suggestions of citrus enliven the senses as the 2022 tapers off long and staining yet only lightly tannic. La Belle Promenade is already showing beautifully today yet promises a long and steady evolution. Drinking Window 2024 - 2032.”
- 93 Points, Vinous - Eric Guido (1/2024)
If you told us five years ago that we would be selling a 95-point Patty Green Pinot Noir for under thirty bucks, we would not have believed you. Such a wonderful wine, from a beautifully drinking vintage, for a STUPID LOW price.
~ The Premiere Vintage of Lillie's ~
2022 Patricia Green "Lillie's Vineyard" Pinot Noir
Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon
~~~~~~~~~~~
From a vineyard leased by Dusky Goose, this unique 97+ pointer is the first-ever bottling of Patricia Green "Lillie's Vineyard" Pinot Noir. We bring it to you today as a Vin Chicago exclusive.
"In 30 years of working in wineries and tasting wines I have rarely witnessed a vineyard do with fruit what Lillie’s Vineyard does."
- Jim Anderson, Patricia Green Cellars
"The first bottling of this wine, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lillie's Vineyard opens to notes of ripe wild raspberries, eau de vie, fresh flowers, sweet herbs, and wet stones. A gorgeous wine and one of the top wines in the vineyard, it’s seamless on the palate, with wonderful structure, ripe tannins, even acidity, a beautiful refreshing lift on the long finish. Just gorgeous. Drink it over the next 20 years. It’s great now and will have a wide window. Maturity 2024 - 2044.”
- 97+ Points, Jeb Dunnuck (8/6/2024)
"Rosy and perfumed, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lillie's Vineyard wafts up with a pretty blend of wild strawberries, chalk dust and wet stones. This is juicy and pure in style, with crisp red and blue fruits that course across a wave of cooling acidity. The 2022 tapers off with tension, leaving a staining of primary concentration and a saturation of silty tannins that tug at the cheeks. The Lillie's was fermented with 50% whole-cluster fruit. Drinking Window 2026 - 2034.”
- 93+ Points, Vinous - Eric Guido (5/2024)
At the winery this goes for $75, which is already a deal compared to the $110 that Dusky Goose asks for their Lillie's Vineyard bottling. We believe we are the only ones outside the winery to be offering this rare beauty, and our price makes it one to jump on big.
Winery Price: $75.00

~ The Final Vintage of Mysterious ~

2022 Patricia Green "Mysterious - Arcus Vineyard"
Pinot Noir Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon
~~~~~~~~~~~
We've featured this prestige bottling going back as far as the 2014 vintage and it is bittersweet to offer this final 2022 bottling. Made from a special plot on the legendary Arcus Vineyard, this "ethereal" wine is pinnacle Pinot Noir.
"This wine lacks for nothing, easily balancing distinctly intense dark fruits, racy acidity and tremendous natural structure."
- Jim Anderson, Patricia Green Cellars
"This seems to be the last vintage for the 2022 Pinot Noir Mysterious Arcus Vineyard, which is profound and gains intensity on the nose, with notes of toasted cedar, ripe cherries, pie spices, and crushed pine needles. Pure and fresh, it feels more noble on the nose, but there is great electric energy on the palate, with ripe fruit and a long, mouthwatering, salty finish. I love the crunchy, angular feel of this wine, and it has a lot going on. Drink 2026-2046.”
- 98 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (8/6/2024)
"Intense in the glass, the 2022 Pinot Noir Mysterious Arcus Vineyard grumbles up with an earthy blend of flowery underbrush and crushed ashen stones before giving way to mint-laced black cherries. Juicy acidity adds lovely lift and energy as this flows across the palate, soft-textured and nearly fleshy in feel, with depths of tart red berry fruit to balance. The 2022 finishes with noticeable depth and concentration as well as soft-contoured tannins, leaving hints of sage and spice to resonate. The balance here is otherworldly. Fantastic. Drinking Window 2027 - 2036.”
- 95 Points, Vinous - Eric Guido (5/2024)
There were 642 cases produced of this final bottling. Only one online listing, which our price handily beats. Every so often, we suggest you grab three or four bottles of a wine and mark one for consumption 5, 10 and 15 years down the road. This is one of those wines.
