2021 Domaine de la Cadette "La Soeur Cadette"
Bourgogne Blanc, Burgundy, France
~~~~~~~~~~~
Valentin Montanet of Domaine de la Cadette is a young vigneron working his family's land and crafting Burgundy in the small village of Vézelay. His father learned winemaking from the one and only Bernard Raveneau, and it was Raveneau who suggested to Kermit that he represent their wines. Can you imagine? It’d be like Michael Jordan calling the Chicago Bulls and suggesting they draft an unknown 18-year old!
“His Bourgogne blanc, made from declassified Mâcon grapes, is Burgundian to its steely core, reliably delicious, and undeniably pleasurable.”
- Kermit Lynch
Valentin crafts this bottling from organically farmed fruit growing in the Mâcon. Raised in tank, from a two hectare parcel of 30-year-old vines, it is a leesy expression of Chardonnay with compelling notes of cured citrus, bruised apple, spiced pear, river stone, vanilla and herbal honey
Drinking beautifully, this nutty, weighty and tense Burgundy has developed in a lovely way. Online prices range from $40 to $60. Today's price blows them all away.
2022 Roland Lavantureux Chablis
Burgundy, France
~~~~~~~~~~~
Run by Roland's sons, Arnaud and David, the wines of Domaine Lavantureux are vinified meticulously, using traditional techniques. The result is delicious Chablis with all the complex flavors and mineral tension one expects from this much-loved region.

“The Lavantureux wines display show-stopping nerve, to be enjoyed as easily before dinner as they are with a piece of grilled fish or oysters-on-the-half-shell. These wines drink as honestly as the people who make them.”
- Kermit Lynch, Importer

Crunchy with ripe citrus and orchard fruits, this estate grown bottling beautifully combines the richness of the 2022 vintage with classic notes of peserved lemon, yellow apple, spring blossoms, oyster shell and sea spray.

Fleshy and delicious with a core of Chablis chalk running down the spine, it earns a super solid 92+ points on our scale. Online prices range from $36 to $60. As with the Domaine de la Cadette, our price beats them all!

2022 Roland Lavantureux "Les Fauconniers" Bourgogne Epineuil, Burgundy, France
~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition to producing wonderful whites in Chablis, brothers Arnaud and David Lavantureux craft this delicious red using vines planted by their grandfather in 1969.
“A wine of striking finesse”
- Kermit Lynch, Importer
Farmed organically, the 55-year-old vines of the family's "Les Fauconniers" vineyard grow in the same ancient limestone seabeds as the famed Grand Crus of Chablis.
Boasting a sublime hint of funk and barnyard, this impressive red displays nuanced texture and a sophisticated collection of flavors. Long and structured, with yummy deliciousness, it could easily be mistaken for 1er Cru Gevrey Chambertin from a traditional grower.
In the great 2022 vintage, this red Burgundy earns 94 points from our team. It is hard to emphasize just how much it overdelivers, even at its regular price.
Median online retail is $56. Beating all seven listings, our price makes the deal hear quite scorching. Sadly, less than three cases are available.
2022 Taupenot-Merme 1er Cru Auxey-Duresses
Burgundy, France
~~~~~~~~~~~
Domaine Taupenot-Merme is a small Burgundy estate with an incredibly passionate base of fans. The challenge for their followers is the limited supply, a fact that makes today’s special offer that much more compelling.

Along with his sister Virginie, Romain Taupenot is the ninth generation to run this family domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis. They organically farm an enviable collection of 1er and Grand Cru vineyards in Gevrey, Morey and, the source of this wine, the oft overlooked commune of Auxey-Duresses.

Hailing from the family's holdings in Les Duresses and Les Grands Champs, totalling just 0.6 hectares with the oldest vines planted over 70 years ago, this pure and complex wine is generous, flavorful and dense with cherry fruit, clay and limestone minerals, a silky mouthfeel and a long, lovely finish.

Earning a strong 94+ points from our team, this is the kind of delicious red that Burgundy drinkers long for but rarely find at a reasonable price. Median online retail is just over $100. With just a handful of cases available and a beats-all price, our supply will vanish fast.
