What We Think
Vin Chicago: 89+ Points
(1/2024) You may not have a reference point for the Greek grape variety, Agiorgitiko (more pronounceably known as Saint George) but it reminds us both of Northern Italian Cab/Merlot blends and Blaufrankisch - with gentler acidity then either. From vines planted at high elevation in Nemea's clay and volcanic soils, it has an easy-drinking and familiar profile with notes of black cherry, red plum, tobacco, blueberry, violet, mocha and a pinch of vanilla. This might sound exotic, but we can't think of many who won't enjoy this broadly-appealing and versatile Greek red!
What Critics Think
James Suckling : 92 Points
(11/7/2023) This is a lively and juicy red showing raspberries, sour cherries, balsamic and oranges on the nose. Medium-bodied with tight tannins and plenty of wild energy. Drink or hold.
