(5/4/2023) Comprised of Chardonnay from mostly Koosah and Lone Feather vineyard and left on the lees with no stirring. Only 10% new oak really lets this fruit from all basalt soils shine through. The palate is richly textured, with lemon cream, stony petrichor and notes of cardamom and pear, showing real depth and elegance.

(7/3/2024) The 2021 Chardonnay Old Eight Cut comes from sites across the Willamette Valley, including the Koosah, Lone Feather and Three Cedars Vineyards. It was matured for about 12 months in a small percentage of new French oak. It has generous aromas of baked apples and peach, matchstick, panna cotta and crème brûlée. The medium-bodied palate is broad and textural with concentrated, savory flavors balanced by bright, mouthwatering acidity, and it has a long, spicy finish. Drink Date: 2024 - 2034.

(9/17/2023) Pouring a medium straw hue, the 2021 Chardonnay Old Eight Cut is their Willamette Valley blend from the Koosah Vineyard, which is now owned by the Jadot family. Beautiful aromatics lift from the glass, with balanced fresh flinty reduction, ripe apple, wet stone, and Meyer Lemon. Medium to full-bodied, with a stony texture and gorgeous fruit to balance things out very well, it offers a fantastic citrus-driven spine of fruit as well as a great value. It is drinking wonderfully now and will drink well over the next 5-6 years. 300 cases were produced.
