Winemaker's Notes

To be invited to the table when we want to indulge in a soft, enveloping, and greatly harmonic wine. Grown on stony limestone soils in Apulia's Marchione district, a late harvest 'dryish' red. Intense and persistent aromas of berries and ripe red fruit pulp, broad and with the intention to evolve over time. Warm, soft, tannic and fruity, full-bodied, quite balanced. Excellent overall harmony and a fruity aftertaste on the palate with a touch of velvet. It is a wine to enjoy throughout the whole meal, served with pappardelle pasta with cod sauce, barley and porcini mushroom soup, apple strudel.
