(2025) Overall, this is sweeter and richer than most would expect from a high-rye bourbon, but it still has plenty of backbone. Caramel and toffee are layered with cinnamon bark and oak, while a splash of water brings milk chocolate and hazelnut into lip-smacking focus.

(2024) Sweet mint, gentle eucalyptus, and a heaping pinch of black pepper on the nose welcome you to this extremely cohesive bourbon. The sip is punchy and fresh, with maraschino cherries, strawberry candies, and vanilla frosting. Throughout the palate there’s a ghostly oak presence adding complexity to an otherwise friendly pour. Water highlights the spices, bringing out earthy leather, too. The finish is long and lean, settling into chocolate and sweet summer fruits.
