(11/2025) Here is a thrilling tête de cuvée from Jérôme Coessens, one of Champagne's most exciting young winemakers! Coessens farms just a few acres in Viller-sur-Arce in the Aube, Champagne's southernmost region. This wine, from the highly touted 2019 vintage, is pure elegance and class. The balance here is remarkable, and as there is little to no oak used at Champagne Coessens, there is an absolutely gorgeous interplay of fruit (notes of lemon zest, tart cherry, clementine, mango, and a hit of baking spice), acid, minerality, and fine effervescence.
