Vin Chicago: 90 Points

(8/2025) Another of the Middle Brow wines made from the hybrid grape Chambourcin, however this one is produced and bottled in Michigan rather than having the grapes transported to their Chicago facility. The juice pressed from the Chabourcin grape is a pinkish red color and some extra skin contact gives a deeper hue to this wine which is labeled as a rosé. Chill it down and look for big fruit flavors of blueberry and cherry along with a touch of earth on the palate. Whether you see this as a rosé or lighter red is up to you. Either way, it's a lot of fun to drink.
