(9/2025) Celebrated Napa winemaker Julien Fayard honed his craft at Chateau Lafite Rothschild before moving to California. As a specialty hired winemaker, Fayard has crafted many artisan, high end Napa bottlings including the wines at Purlieu, a producer with several $250+ Cabs. "Le Pich" is a second label from Purlieu and is basically a cellar selection of their substantially more expensive single vineyard bottlings. This wine is outrageously delicious with an elegant collection of flavors including cassis, musk perfume, juicy red berries, blackberry, pepper, soy, fresh turned earth, vanilla and sweet wood spice. Seductive, with nuanced tannins, this is a winner, especially at our amazing price!
