(5/1/2025) The 2023 Appellation Luján de Cuyo White Clay combines 60% Sémillon and 40% Chenin Blanc that matured in first-, second- and third-use barrels. A harmonious, lifted bouquet of honeydew melon, white flowers and honeycomb introduces a vibrantly waxy palate, concluding with a broad yet citrus-tinged finish with impressive length. Drink Date: 2024 - 2028.

(2/4/2024) Lemons and stone with a lightly steely and creamy edge. Really bright and nervy, with a bone-dry, elegant finish. 60% semillon and 40% chenin blanc. This should age well. Drink from 2026.

(10/2024) The 2023 Catena Appellation Luján de Cuyo White Clay is a blend of 60% Sémillon and 40% Chenin Blanc from Agrelo. Green-tinged in the glass, it reveals aromas of honey, wet wool and a hint of lime. Dry, nimble and slightly rich, the malic palate lingers with a refreshing, vibrant core. It's an uncommon continental white for Argentina. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2028.

(5/22/2025) The 2023 White Clay Appellation Lujan de Cuyo is a blend of 52% Semillon and 47% Chenin Blanc, the Semillon from old vines and the Chenin grown on pergola to protect the grapes from undue sunlight exposure and preserve freshness. Together the light-bodied wine maintains a rounded mouthfeel and dense flavors of apricot accented in white flower. Gorgeous. Enjoy now through 2033.
