Importer's Notes

The lieu-dit Les Grandes Gouttes sits at the southern edge of Meursault on border with Puligny, just a few hundred meters below the Premier Cru vineyard Les Charmes. It generally has a lighter, racier profile. Coming from vines with an average age of 50 years, the grapes are handpicked then pressed whole cluster. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrel, and elevage lasts for 18 months in 1 to 10-year-old barrels.
