(3/31/2025) Warm plum, cherry and melted licorice offer juicy pleasure and concentration. A bouncy style that turns serious on the palate, firmed up with iron and bitter mineral notes. Red tea and Christmas spices add detail, and the finish shows hints of tar and ash. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2026 through 2038. 3,000 cases made, 300 cases imported.

(5/16/2024) Something like 30% to 40% of the production was lost to hail, but the remaining wine looks to be a beauty, with lovely floral shadings to the raspberry and cherry aromas. Full-bodied, rich and opulent, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Reserve has hints of strawberries and dried spices on the long, silky finish. Drink Date: 2023 - 2035.
