What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91+ Points
(9/2025) This combines a picturesque vintage with high quality fruit from some of their favorite vineyards within the core of that original Willamette Valley stronhold - the Dundee Hills. Those sites are rich in volcanic Jory soils and this special, small-production, unfiltered bottling uses destemmed fruit which gets a long 18 month elevage in about 25% new French oak barrels. A medium-bodied, classic Oregon Pinot this has lovely layers of red currant, fresh raspberry, cherry skin, tangerine zest, black tea, plenty of oakspice and the slightest hint of blackberry underneath. Yummy, especially appetizing and long finishing - it'll be a hit at the dinner table, especially Thanksgiving!
