(11/2025) Did someone roll back the calendar?! Proper '5 Puttonyos' Tokaji Aszu simply isn't available for this price anymore - except here! This special, historical dessert wine category received significant outside investment after the fall of the Soviet Union and its key varieties of Furmint and Harslevelu respond to botrytis cinerea in a remarkable way. For the unitiated, think of Sauternes with more finesse, and alcohol nearer 11% than 14% and elevated acidity. Notes of honeysuckle, orange marmelade, apricots and ginger absolutely dance - one you want to drink more of!
