(5/7/2025) What a wonderful wine, showing crabapples, cranberries, apples and nutmeg. It’s full-bodied yet fresh and vivid with cooked rhubarb and orange peel. Long and flavorful finish. One of the best orange wines out there. Aged eight months in clay amphorae then briefly in acacia casks. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

(8/31/2025) This Pinot Grigio is a horse of a different color, both for its pale but vibrant ruby hue and its nose of tobacco and stone. Vibrant and well-meshed, with its lightly chalky texture supporting flavors of wild strawberry preserves and glazed tangerine, plus more fragrant herb, mineral and white pepper notes that linger on the juicy finish. Distinctive but appealing. Drink now through 2038. 950 cases made, 150 cases imported.

(3/2024) The 2023 Pinot Grigio Fuoripista displays a distinctive translucent pinkish-red hue. It opens with a vividly fruity bouquet that blends wild strawberries and sour cherries with blood orange and a cascade of exotic florals. This is soft-textured yet lifted and finessed, with a tinge of grapefruit up front leading to notes of green melon and tangerine. A wine of lovely contrast, the 2023 leaves the palate reeling with tension as minty herbal tones and nuances of peach slowly fade. What a beauty. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2028.
