From a younger grower near Chaux in the high-elevation remoteness of Hautes-Cotes de Nuits. The strength of Julien's work has provided him massale selection vines from none other than Aubert de Villaine of DRC fame! This bottling comes from very low yielding (20 hl/ha), organically-farmed Aligote vines that were planted 30 years ago just north of Nuits Saint Georges. Ripe but vivid, this refreshing 12% ABV White Burgundy sees no barrel and should be drunk in its youth.
